Old and New
There is always a corner in this neighbourhood that can be missed in the hurry for a bus or to meet a deadline, but this morning I had all the time in the world to notice this quaint corner off Lauriston Place just past the bus stop where I often stand unaware of the blip potential at my shoulder.
With the tide out first thing today, it wasn’t worthwhile making the hour’s journey only to have to search for the sea at the end and so I went walk about instead.
It is warmish today but cloudy. I can tell my sell by date is looming when I see girls baring arms and midriffs without a goosebump in sight while we bus pass clutchers are reluctant to discard any item of clothing - you can’t be too cautious in this unpredictable weather!
