Having a Laugh

Another longish stint working at the allotment; dropped off surplus Pak Choi seedlings at the ‘swap box’ and came away with a dozen or so onion sets, so they’re now planted under glass to stop the birds lifting them. I’ve never had success at growing onions but maybe this is the year ….
Tenpin again this evening, my last league game of the season, and we managed to split the games and win the match by three pins, sneaking it on the last end! Then nipped into Bennett’s with JacktheLad. It was heaving (how come students have so much dosh these days?) but we grabbed stools at the end of the bar, so here’s a different view of the place.
