down in the woods (where no cars go)

We got up slowly, I can't stay up late like I used to! We decided to go to the woods so that we could enjoy the sunshine and so the mini pinks could run around in a different place. When we pulled up in the car park, we were greeted by some friends of ours, who unbeknown to us had also decided to go to the woods for a while. It worked perfectly as the mini pinks had playmates to share the woodland with, rope to use (thanks Pete) and a dog in the shape of Luna to chase, and run around with. We all had a little play at being Bear Grylls, Pete lit a small fire to demonstrate to Master Pink his flint and knife combo ( it was put out straightaway) and the ropes became snakes, swings, and lassoos.

After our woodland fun we came home for a barbecue, but by this point in the afternoon the wind had got up and it was getting chilly. But it is a bank holiday and we're British.
