Dr Doolittle

A most decadent lie in until 10.30 was followed by a walk to the park, a game of catch and finally coffee and cake at the garden centre. Red harassed bonded with a chipmunk while Lily chose a Snowy Owl.

The afternoon was spent with the children playing in the garden and Mum and I chatting with Aunty Nan. The sun kind of shone and the world was good!

Both children are in bed (Red was asleep within minutes) and I'm about to scoff my Mum's fajitas followed by trifle (without fruit or sponge). Perfect!
