The Cycling Tuts

We spent the morning gardening and nursing a sickly chicken - Vanny, our favourite, became egg bound. She passed the shell followed by a soft egg but was looking very sorry for herself. We read up what to do and ended up giving her a bath in Johnson's lavender baby bath before isolating her in a rabbit hutch lined with towels.

After such excitement we got our bikes out and cycled over to the Stevenses for a BBQ to celebrate the safe arrival of their new BBQ and garden furniture.

Now we are trying to convince 4 weary children that they really do want to go to bed now as they do actually have to go back to school tomorrow!
