Honestly?

Well, Honesty, which seemed to be a favourite with the many Orange Tip butterflies out and about today. There were quite a few other species too, more than I’ve seen in a long time, including Holly Blue, Peacock, Red Admiral, Small White, Small Copper and Painted Lady. Best bird was Hobby and best mammal was Stoat. Our walk took us along the Minsmere New Cut from Eastbridge to the sluice - and back. The forecast was so-so but it was perfect- warm and sunny with just a gentle breeze.
