Science at its best
Jerry gave a talk at the Windermere Science Festival today on behalf of the British Antarctic Survey - here he's showing how scientists have used satellite technology to track the movements of albatrosses around the Antarctic Ocean. His talk was followed by one on the Deep Ocean Lab by the science journalist and presenter Greg Foot, which was really entertaining. Meanwhile families and young children were trying all sorts of scientific experiments and trying to build rafts from cardboard boxes and tarpaulins - so well done to the Jetty Museum for putting on such a show!
