A host, of golden daffodils

At last I got to visit the 10,000 ceramic daffodils in the grounds of Lowther Castle, and they looked amazing in the sunshine.  I was particularly impressed with the way larger daffodils, designed by well-known  Cumbrians such as Rory Stewart and James Rebank, have been incorporated within the planting, with explanations and reflections as to why they have chosen particular colours.
