Better day

We woke up to glorious sunshine which always lifts the spirits.  A leisurely breakfast and then a drive to Monks House (NT) home of Virginia Woolf.  Small house but delightful gardens and grounds and the sun was warm (I had worn the wrong clothes).  We had a leisurely walk round and then drove to Lewes where I bought a couple of galvanised buckets for the garden.  Previous glass fibre pots are starting to fall apart  so I’m replacing them with galvanised.  We had intended to eat in Lewes but nothing took our fancy so we drove to the Sussex Ox where we had eaten with A& J in January but they were not serving food until 6.00 so a glass of wine and bag of crisps had to do!  We debated driving back to Eastbourne but decided to go for a walk to kill an hour.  The Long Man was only a few miles away so we had a walk (better seen from a distance) then back for dinner in the sunshine!

No.1 had a good time at the wedding in Scotland and looked gorgeous!
No.2 last day in Skye wishing he had booked longer.
