Isle of Wight

Met up with some friends today for a trip over to the Isle of Wight to meet another of our little group. Our destination was Osborne House which I haven’t visited since I was about 10. The house itself was a bit ornate and overdone, but then it was the Victorian era! We enjoyed the walk down to the beach and the expanse of the grounds, but I did think the entry price was a bit steep - I won’t be rushing back again. The view from the ferry (main pic) was most enjoyable - all that sea and sky and sun. I could have stayed on there all day!
