Photos taken while walking Rufus this morning.  The farmer's dwelling is just a few paces from the new builds on what was previously part of his olive farm. Turkey is a land of contrasts but not often in such proximity.

Wonderfully sunny and warm, a day that included the usual doggy strolls, an online GCSE English Literature  tutorial with JJ and a major supermarket run with Graham and Kat buying in plentiful supplies - just in case - at horrific and absurdly inflated prices as the lira spirals out of control.  Hugely significant national election tomorrow - people from all backgrounds and political persuasions are nervous that there may be trouble ahead, whatever the outcome as Turkey faces potentially the biggest political change this century. Or not. .
