Leonie and elections

Lillyanne's first born on 7th July 2022, in my lounge, (here) this little sweetheart, who I called Leonie,  is now a mama herself as of last week, to four beautiful babies, born on Graham's balcony.  Sweet little one too young to be a mama, is doing really well as are her babies. When they are weaned I will take her to the vet to be spayed, it 's the only way to control the semi feral population, but meanwhile, she is enjoying motherhood. Bless.

I took the photo this afternoon when Rufus and I joined Graham, Kat and Louise to watch yesterday's Eurovision on catch up. Not for the first time I have to disagree with the result. My vote would have been on either Poland or Finland's marvelously dreadful 'Cha cha cha'. Hey ho. that's Eurovision.

As well as the kittens, another furry friend joy today was watching Rufus and Esra play together while we watched Eurovision - even though she is more than twice his size, Esra was so lovely with Rufus. Pure joy to watch.

Major news of course has to be the election - but actually, there's no news. No one had a clear victory, so there'll be another vote for President on 28th May.  As much as I miss my beloved spiritual home, I am quite glad to be in the rural province of Aydin right now, rather than the political hot bed of Istanbul where I fear, there may be trouble ahead.
