Another Great Day!

A huge well done and congratulations to my husband for competing in his first race....the BUPA 10k.
He's buzzing from the experience and can't wait for the next one. It took him around 55mins which I think is incredible.
He let me wear his medal and I kept getting congratulated...of course I politely said thank you. He had the pain, I had the glory!
I was fortunate to watch where the elite were warming up. Took some great pictures of Mo Farah. He ran the 10k in 29 mins. He was halfway round and some hadn't even started!
I think everyone who took part are amazing. I could get round, I know that, but I think it would take me all day. I'll stick with my 5k in July....think I need to start training for it!
The sun shone and made it a glorious day.
After the race we met my son and his girlfriend and went for a really nice Vietnamese meal. It was so good. I love Vietnamese food.
We returned to Shenfield station and had a nice costa coffee before returning home.
I have to pick my son up later from his trip to Holland. He coaches under 9's football. They were excellent. They scored 59 goals and let in 7 over 7 games. Needless to say they won the tournament. They beat some strong teams including MKDons 9-0 and West Brom 10-0. He's a happy lad.
Think we will relax at the cinema tonight. I want to see The Great Gatsby.
