The New and The Old

I think I  have got my money’s worth from my old walking boots. When I got back from my walk this morning (5.5 miles) I thought I would just compare the treads of the ones I had been wearing with the new ones that arrived this week!!

The old ones are 10 months old and have covered just on 400 miles in 2023 alone….

I am starting to feel stones through the soles now - so I may soon have to bin them!! Annoyingly they are extremely comfortable (apart from the stones) and they are still completely waterproof….but they cannot be resoled!! The new ones cost £10 more than the same ones last year…still less than £50 though.

A bit of silliness for a Saturday….
