We were lucky with the weather for our walk at the heath this morning, although it was sodden underfoot from the recent thunder storms.
Not so lucky with the journeys though as more roads were closed and an 11 mile extra detour on a 20 miles journey is taking the biscuit. 
However, it was lovely to see the abundant new growth and baby cones on the Scots Pine, which I've shown in extras.
