Hotbox

Treat of the day was a trip to see Guys & Dolls in Nick Hytner’s amazing Bridge Theatre. It’s a show I know well as I was an usher at the National Theatre when Richard Eyre’s production in the 1980s changed everything there.   This is a fabulous, immersive production where the groundlings are pushed around, in and out of the action and get to dance with the stars at the end.  Truly lovely.  We were meant to see it earlier in the month but…trains…today and tomorrow there’s a train strike too but we have a plan!  

We stayed over at the Ned, for an anniversary treat and enjoyed walking back over London Bridge after the show watching Tower Bridge shine and with the Tower of London all lit up.
