Skywalker

This starling appears to be a tightrope walker making his way across a high wire above the Cobbosseecontee Stream • MrsP and I started this lovely day with a breakfast picnic at The Boat Landing. There’s still extensive mud cleanup to be done: two flower gardens are still covered, as well as the sidewalks; the pilings along the boardwalk are at differing heights too, but mostly everything looks to be back to normal after the near 6 ft flood • We observed lots of floating and flying cormorants during our visit, along with several soaring eagles • It was nice being able to grocery shop today without wading in water • The best news of the day: a catbird flew in early for breakfast and has been eating and drinking off and on all day. It’s a long way from Maura’s place in Gainesville, Florida :)
