Bingo!

We caught one - it remains to be seen if there are more.

Yesterday we saw a mouse several times (was it the same one every time?), so having tried with chocolate and peanut butter with no success, W washed out the trap and tried bird food.

A few hours later, there he was.

This morning we walked about half a mile* down the road and released him into a field.

The only bit you get to see is his tail, but i can assure you there was a mouse attached to it, he was just too fast for me when he realised the cage was open.

In other news, it's been a day of alternating heavy rain and sunshine.  The weather is forecast to be good tomorrow, and no workers scheduled to visit, so maybe we'll get out for a while.
