Storm ahead

Better night's sleep.  It was a warm night, the thermometer registered 20°C.  

Forecast indicated thunderstorms today.  Managed two dry dog walks.  Though clouds looked ominous rain didn't arrive until around 6pm accompanied by thunder.  Thankfully Kyro seemed fine with the noise which didn't last long.

OH informed that the printer cartridges were expiring.  However, when I did a print test it looked fine.  Anyway thought while I was in town I'd look for some ink cartridges.  My first stop was at Rymans.  I jokingly said after I'd asked for the price, hopefully I wouldn't need to take out a mortgage.  I was shocked by the price and thought I'd misheard.  £96 for a twinpack of black and colour cartridges.  I said I'd think about it.

Proceeded to John Lewis where the same was £66.59.  On the basis that a £30 reduction was possible I thought I'd search online for a better deal.  Sure enough cheaper options are available.  

Extra - Kyro's pose on hearing a rooster crowing.  He turned round several times and adopted this pose each time the rooster called.  It may be the first time he's heard this sound.

Mushroom soup and fresh sourdough bread for dinner.
