"that's amore"

It's been a long time since I've had a lie in at the weekend. Really struggling to function at the minute without my weekend sleeps! In the past 3 weeks I've been in London, then I was at home and today I had to make an unexpected trip to Glasgow to exchange the bag I bought online for one in the shop as the one I got in the post was damaged :( So sleep escapes me yet again...

When in Glasgow I make every opportunity to meet up with my lovely friend Sarah!!! :) And this time I got a two for the price of 1 deal as we were joined by her bf William for some lunch at this Italian and a coffee. Once he left though it was normal service resumed as Sarah and I put our technique of just being able to pick up exactly where we left off the last time we met, to good use as we chatted our day away over coffee and cake! :)

The one downside to the day - it absolutely bucketed!! It's been a long time since I've seen rain quite that bad but lets just say it was that bad that I was able to work out that my trusty Dr. Martin boots have a hole somewhere in the sole of the right boot :( wet toes!

It was lovely to see my partner in crime and her other half today and to top it all off - I've now got my new big girl's, grown up handbag! :)

The rain continued during my train journey back so I spent the trip looking up building instructions for an Ark (just in case) and ordering a takeaway for tea as a suitable accompaniment to the cheesy-ness that is 'Eurovision'!! Don't judge me - I'm weak I know! I don't understand why I give in and watch it every year but it's just such addictive viewing! :/
