Waiting for the start

Here we are waiting for the start at the Edinburgh Marathon. First bit was down hill (which was nice), and then fairly flat to Gosford where we turned back along the same road to the finish in Musselburgh. I was glad I'd brought my sunglasses and lots of water in my back pack. Great support from the marshals and the local people.

I was aiming to finish within 6 hours and my time was 5:58.57, so I'm pleased with that. Thanks for your good wishes.
