Edinburgh Marathon

I was helping at the start of the Edinburgh Marathon this morning and met Eyelad and emhowl! The sky was overcast for the Half Marathon which began at 8:00, but an hour later it was very bright and sunny with blue skies. The Marathon started at 10:00 and by then it was very warm. Too warm, I think to run a marathon. Hope the runners were ok. I don't think I could have completed the race in that heat.

Worked on the wall in the afternoon and I'm almost done. Just need to place the covering slabs on the top and backfill the ground behind. Couldn't find a sun hat and so put a tea towel on my head :o)
