It's Sunday, so it must be crumpets

We spent an inordinate amount of time this morning trying to get our WiFi out to the garage with the new extenders bought yesterday.  Total failure - which we now think may be due to the fact that these are too hi tech, and probably using WiFi 6, whereas none of our tablets or phones are particularly new, and are not able to see WiFi 6!

An older, lower tech extender, positioned at the other end of the garage, has finally managed to link and extend the WiFi to the rest of the garage.  All that remains now is to link the inverter to the WiFi, for which I think we need our electrician to return, as he has the password.

W then made rusks, and despite us having crumpets from last week's batch still left in the freezer, decided he had enough energy to do another batch.  He used a slightly different recipe, and our current thoughts are that these were not as successful.  The rather spread out one on the lower right was NOT however the fault of the recipe - that was a manufacturing glitch, when W, whilst attempting to free another crumpet from its ring, knocked this one in its ring before it had set, and it attempted to escape.  It tasted fine.
