Blues

Was out dog walking at 7.30am.  Forecast looked warm for greyhounds today so caught the cool morning.  Grass still very wet from yesterday's rain.

As the ground was easy to dig I planted two lavender shrubs in a patch which is dry in summer - my Mediterranean patch I guess.

OH was photographing the street's coronation shindig.  Meanwhile I sat with the hound in the garden reading Noel Fitzpatrick's latest book and catching vitamin D.

The blues caught my eye today.  Forget-me-nots, green alkanet and a blue harnessed blue greyhound.

Had second dog walk after 5.   On our walk someone had left a child baby seat on the pavement.  Kyro froze and growled at it.  I coaxed him towards it so that he could smell it and dispel his fear.  Once he'd sniffed it he started wagging his tail.  It was a comical episode.

It has been a splendid day despite earlier forecasts of rain and thunderstorms.  Wish I'd put some washing out but it was unpredictable.

Pleasant evening everyone.
