Clematis reborn

We severely cut back 'the most beautiful clematis in Edinburgh' two years ago in May 2021 when our yard was renovated. Undeterred, it has grown back very well, as blipped.

It feels like we have returned to autumnal Edinburgh after a short summer holiday in England. What a grey day! That said, we're still in catch-up mode here, and it's no hardship to be cloistered indoors when the weather is so poor. We popped out twice: this morning to look at some bedroom furniture advertised on Facebook Marketplace (a purchase was agreed); this afternoon to buy provisions for the next few days.

I broke the Friday rule tonight and cooked curry on a Saturday.

Exercise today: very small amount of walking (~6000 steps).
