… and excellent germination of seeds from the Cottage Garden Seed Swap, they’ll need potting on in a few days time.
Lovely morning after lots of very welcome rain during the night.
I lifted the last of the winter leeks - there were about half a dozen good sized ones, made a big pan of Leek and Potato soup.
Had breakfast, MrD went off for his day of deliveries and I went to Lidl for a big shop and got most of items on my list - lots of empty spaces in Lidl.
Love the blossom on the Bramley cooking apple - outside of petals is deep pink, the bees and insects just love these flowers!
