Surf City
Two more views of the beach taken from the Jacksonville, Florida pier. You can barely make out the college students competing in the surf.

Today is also Cinco De Mayo!!
Commemorating the Mexican Army’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, Cinco de Mayo is a holiday celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and throughout Mexico, as well as in Mexican-American communities in the United States. Cinco de Mayo, however, is not Mexico’s Independence Day, which is celebrated on September 16.
In Mexico, Cinco de Mayo is a regional holiday, but in the United States it has become a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations. It is often marked with parades, music, dancing, as well as eating lots of delicious Mexican cuisine.
Have a great weekend everyone!
