Toledo

We arrived in Toledo around 7:15 getting the train from Madrid. Lunchtime flight over from Edinburgh, bus from airport to Atocha station to pick up the train which takes half an hour to get to Toledo.

We are staying for three nights in an apartment inside the walls of the old town, the ancient capital of Spain. The whole city is a UNESCO world heritage sight and has one of the best cathedrals in Europe. We will be exploring tomorrow.

This statue is of a guy from Toledo who was a world class cyclist winning many accolades from the 50s and 60s, but I can’t recall his name!
