A catch

I have been worrying about the female osprey's health as I have not seen her eating anything for days.
Today I captured a glimpse of one of them holding a sizeable fish.

There are three eggs in the nest, the lake is free of ice, the sun is shining, so maybe we can look forward to a good nesting season.
