Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

We wished this guy was doing a better job of gnat catching - there were gabillions of them being very annoying!

It was an odd day from a photographic standpoint. Lots of birds I would have liked to get a shot of, but mostly no luck. Oh well! At least the weather was somewhat improved. Some actual SUN - which brought the gnats. Sigh.

The extra is a bright eyed chipmunk at the Hawk's Nest overlook at Hawk's Nest State Park. The peregrine was there again today - so that's always fun. Second extra is the peregrine in flight.
