Great Chalford Manor and gardens.

Halfway on our journey down to Cornwall for two weeks holiday. Yipee!

We stopped off at this delightful Medieval moated Manor House nest Melksham.
Unfortunately the 4pm guided tour had been cancelled and so we could only look round the gardens. They were lovely but would have really liked to see inside the house.
Never mind it was nice to stretch our legs after driving about 200 miles.

Looking forward to reaching Cornwall tomorrow. Also to visiting another new place on the way.
Today we have had a good journey. Warm and sunny a,though rained this evening.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
