I wanted to get down to get a photo of this ship that is in the harbour right now, but the weather has not been cooperating. This was the best I could do without going into a restricted area. There has been too much fog to get a good shot from another more distant angle.
I had a telephone appointment with my bank today to talk about what to do with the pension split money. I asked her if that money could be used as a down payment on a mini home. And the answer...YES. Next step is to set up an appointment with my mortgage broker (a client of mine) and a real estate agent (another client of mine).
This is going to be quite the birthday present for myself this year. Not that I will have it for my birthday, but just knowing I can start making some plans is exciting.
