A bee on sea thrift (Armeria maritima) The photo does not do justice to the beauty of large patches of different shades of pink thrift at Gullane Head.  The extra shows a few of the flowers seen nearby; common cornsalad, spring beauty, germander speedwell, sea mouse-ear, bird’s foot trefoil and bluebell.
