The loft is empty

The job’s done at long last. One of the last boxes down contained numerous bags containing packs of photographs. There must be hundreds, mostly taken on holidays and trips. So far the date range is from 1992 to 2005 in the packs that I’ve looked at. 

It’s made me think more about the advantages of  digital storage of photographs. These pictures have been packed away from that time and never seen. I’ve got over 13 thousand pictures on my phone which I dip in and out of all of the time, these date from 2008. It cost nothing to take these pictures and they are instant, you delete the ones not required. Such a change.

A sewing friend called the afternoon to do some swaps. Books, magazines and materials which are surplus to requirements. She was there when L came to help B with the loft and went home with the intention of getting started on her own loft, curious to know what surprises are hidden up there!!!
