Royal Fern

Before we left Sussex I put small offshoots from my collection of native British ferns into pots to transfer them, eventually, to a new garden. I wasn't sure that they would survive but I'm just beginning to see signs of life. I had three large Royal Ferns in my collection, now reduced to this tiny new frond. At least it has survived.
