Park Wood, Nuffield

The spaniel and I visited one of the best beech and bluebell woods that I know. This is Park Wood in Nuffield, south Oxfordshire. Originally part of Lord Nuffield's estate, the wood is owned by Nuffield College, Oxford and lies just behind HM Prison Huntercombe. Despite wall to wall thick cloud, the combination of beech and bluebell was still spectacular.
