Lesson about MEAT
During today's packing session which featured kitchen paraphernalia including recipe books, I came across my Domestic Science (as it was called in those days) jotter from primary school days.
I was amused leafing through the contents and my childish handwriting, then when I saw the date on the above page, I took it as a sign that it had to be today's blip.
The teacher who ticked and signed my work, I remember, was a Miss Attenborough, who told us her uncle was David Attenborough who, at the time (1962), wrote a regular column in the children's magazine I bought. Who would've thought he'd still be a notable influence some 60+ years later!
