Sushi!

Today we went for a two-hour vegetarian sushi lesson in honour of Tealuke's birthday.

The lesson was in Jimbocho, in the heart of Tokyo, so we decided to check out the running track around the Imperial Palace before class started. Unbeknownst to us, however, there was a competition going on at the same time, and I think I must have got a bit of the scent of the hunt, as we may have run the fastest 6km of our lives... Great way to whet the appetite!

The sushi lesson was really fun (although a little frustrating on occasion, when I glanced over at Tealuke's superior skills...), and I was surprised at how good the finished product looked. And how delicious! Here are the fruits of my labours...
