Lovely sunny day. Went to the Gleisdreieckpark to look for some beasties (see extra). Nothing really exciting but a lovely walk in the park. Met Rowan for a wander over the controversial Thai market which seems to irritate some people. I think it is a well known place that attracts people from all over Berlin and further away which gives rise to conflict with the locals. I very much enjoyed the vibe. The sunshine very much helped. We then took the U Bahn to spend a couple of hours in the Botanics. On the way back we passed the Breitenbachplatz and I couldn't resist another poke around the abandoned fly-overs. We walked through the tunnel (other extra) which was quite eerie. I would love to cycle along this bit of motorway.
