Vila Nova de Gaia

A long walk today, along the south side of the Douro. On my way back I cheated to avoid the steep climb back up to the city, using the cable car. This took me up towards the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar, for some terrific views down on to the city, the Dom Luis Bridge and the streets way below.
