Shetland Folk Festival 2023

A morning of rain.  It dried up in the afternoon, and fine evening.  A breeze picked up this afternoon, chilly from the north.

Up at 5am, and an early shift in the airport.  I've been working on the check-in desk all day, most flights on time, except Kirkwall/Inverness.  Walkies with Sammy this evening, ready for an early night.  

The annual Shetland Folk Festival is on this weekend, started last night.  Plenty of visitors have been arriving over the past few days, bringing plenty more musicians to the isles.  Various concerts across Shetland, though I've heard grumbling that most is based in Lerwick.  Unfortunately I've hit it wrong with my rota, meaning I'm working all weekend and will miss out on the fun again! Hope everyone involved had a great spree.  Looking to the main festival clubhouse, Islesburgh community centre, King Harald Street, Lerwick.
