Saturday: Roofs of Split

A very full, but very good day!  The weather has been really variable - at lunchtime we had wind and rain, by late afternoon we had brilliant warm sunshine!

Anyway, a good day exploring every nook and cranny of Split, coupled with plenty of pit-stops.  We did a lot of walking which included a trip up the bell-tower to get these views.  Security considerations up there were virtually nil (no railings, no fencing), which made my legs feel distinctly funny at times.  Later in the day we walked up the hill just outside the town centre to get the most spectacular views over the town.  

Excellent dinner tonight of black cuttlefish risotto, followed by beef stew.  I will confess that I am feeling a little full at the moment.......and sleepily content, or contentedly sleepy.....
