The World Is A Sadder Place This Morning

Falmouth Royal Naval Associations Light Burns A Little Dimmer Today.

My friend Jackie’s battle with illness ended this morning when she passed away peacefully. Those that follow my Blip will know that for four years I have visited Richard and Jackie on Fridays and those visits have allowed me to witness the courageous fight that Jackie put up.

My heart goes out to my friend Richard this morning, they knew what was coming, had discussed it as couples do but none of us are ready. In the coming days, weeks and months we shall support him as best we are able.

That was about it for today, it knocked the wind out of my sails, Mrs S and Sam headed for Truro by bus to shop for rugby kit for Sam, Paddy and I walked to clear our heads.
