Entertaining

Plenty of parking on our road now, difficult to get to though. Paddy thinks it’s all been put on for his entertainment, he looks out of the window at the brightly coloured workmen and plant machinery passing backwards and forwards. We also took the opportunity for him to walk down the centre of the road without any fear of traffic.
First day back, couple of phone calls to break me in gently to the ‘strife’, one of the problems when dealing with people whose glasses are half empty.
Remainder of the camping gear emptied from the van although looking at the weather over the coming days I don’t think much is going to get aired.
In the evening Mrs S and I went to the RNA meeting where we shared a bottle of Goslings Rum and a chocolate tray bake with our fellow members to celebrate my birthday.
Couple of tots, couple of beers, good company, that’s all you need.
