Monks Head Beach

Had a leisurely morning at the airbnb, met the owners who were lovely.  then we found our way to this beach, only about 5 minutes away.   It was a wonderful, long beach, not a soul in sight.   we walked for about an hour which we really needed given all the food we'd been eating!!!  on our way to the beach we saw a young eagle sitting on the fence post - see extra.

Then a toodle about the area, and finally found another path leading to another beach!   All the wild seas have done a wonderful job of depositing seaweed onto the branches of some bushes....it was very cool! see extra.

Lunch and a nice drive home.  A sunny day at last!   Always so much fun going on a short adventure, but it was lovely to be home again, and Chance was happy to see us!
