Duttons Almshouses
There are plenty of old buildings in Northleach, though they all look a bit gloomy today. I decided to go for this panorama, six images combined. I walk past these almshouses on my way down to the town centre.
Thomas Dutton donated them in 1615. Each female inmate enjoyed 2 rooms, a garden, plus weekly dole. Men were admitted from 1820. The town trustees now administer them.
Another view of the old workhouse as an extra. At least this one has some colour from the red tulips. The orange in the main blip is a LibDem window poster.
Northleach camera club this evening and I am doing my blipfoto presentation again. I'm hoping to get another new member after my success at Cirencester.
