Mr Orange Tip

Just two days ago I commented 'one day I will get a photo of a male orange tip'. I am true to my word.

Well technically it's not a good image, but it has to be my blip. I actually had the right camera and the right lens with me as I was in search of some bluebells. Unfortunately I had the wrong focus area setting and I couldn't get the focus on the butterfly. There were two of them as well, fighting over territory I think. This one was the winner.

In other news I had my most successful night at camera club for ages yesterday. Nothing to do with photography. I won the bottle of wine in the raffle.
