Barn owl

How lucky was I this morning as I came across a beautiful Barn Owl hunting  in a field and along a dyke. Such a beautiful silent sight. At one point it  came so near to me that it was too big for my lens.
I have added 3 extras as I couldn't choose just one photo!
A bright but very cold morning with frost in places.
