The swedish west coast

Well let's talk about the weekend. I finished my exam and sent it, 1.5 weeks late, showered off the sweat of exam anxiety, slathered on my new lip balm tinted in rose colour, slid my feet into my sensible ballerina shoes and went outside to meet spring. And Janko! And his friend Sabina! They had eaten sushi at Rosenlund, the cameras kept in high gear. I guided them past shady porn shops and hipster bars on the second long street, up the Stigbergsliden and all the way to Café Zenit. Sunny. Hot. Outdoor seating. Iced coffee in misty glasses. Everyone in airy dresses. Sabina and I immediately ganged up against Janko, who enjoyed himself magnificently. You know how it is when two people close to you conspire against you. It's all love. And after that! Hugs goodbye, and then Janko and I jumped on a train to Varberg, a famous swedish resort at the sea. To celebrate our fifth anniversary! Bathing in the hot "Lenin bath". Steam sauna followed by ice cold baths. Taking a walk at the fortress. Magnolias in bloom. Tired feet. Fish for supper. Such a nice time. So very nice.

Janko, am I right. One of the kindest people I know. Succeeds in making me a little nicer too, I think. And a little braver.
