Lilies

The flowers on these lilies have just opened and are looking lovely. It was an unprepossessing  bunch given me by a friend as a thank you for borrowing toys and books for her visiting grandchildren….but after a week they do look great!

I had a very nice lunch with friends at the Wharf restaurant in Teddington, a great set menu with a glass of wine on Mondays,Wednesdays and Thursdays. Cheaper than Cote, a lovely view of the river and very good food and service. 

It was lovely and warm sitting in the restaurant in the sun but…it got so cold later and then started raining, and it continues. Definitely need the heating on still.
